How Zero-Click Search Works
You type a question and the answer is just there, so there is no reason to click. The information came from a website, but the visit never happened. As AI answers handle more queries directly, more searches end exactly this way.
Why Zero-Click Search Matters
It changes how you measure success. If fewer searches send a click, then being named and quoted in the answer becomes the win, visit or no visit. Track only traffic in a zero-click world and you will badly undercount the value you are getting from being in the answer.
