Definition
Agentic engine optimization is the practice of making a website readable and usable by AI agents that browse, compare and take action on a person’s behalf. Where GEO is about being mentioned in an answer, agentic engine optimization is about being chosen and acted on: an agent reading your product page, checking stock and price, and completing the task.
